Carbonitriding, quenching, and tempering treatments alter the internal metallographic structure, achieving a hardness of HRC58-HRC62 in the quenched zone. Surface rust prevention treatment ensures that the hardness of the non-quenched zone around the mounting holes is ≤HRC32.
